St. Luke's Lane Mural Project

This idea proposes to decorate the west facade of the building at 145 St Luke Lane. 

StreetArtTO has reviewed this idea and estimate that the project will cost about $80,000 including materials and labour.

Original Description:

Goal: Decorate west facade of building at 145 St. Luke Lane, adjacent to Dr. Lillian McGregor Park. building leased to Duang Stores Corp. spring 2023. Artwork on the side of the building facing the park would animate the laneway and would improve the view from the park and children's playground. The theme could reflect the indigenous design of the park, area history, or the current businesses in the building.

Note: This is one idea which can be scoped in a range of cost brackets, with associated investments ranging from large to very significant. It is hoped that there will be ongoing dialogue with the Councillor’s office to qualify and shape this idea further as design and cost input is received from staff experts at the City, and prior to it being submitted for voting.
