Original Description:

We would work as a community, to identify an appropriate artist to create a new mural to be located on the side of Central Neighbourhood House.

Murals are an important art form that can significantly impact communities for the better. They can transform and beautify public spaces and bring people form all walks of life closer. They can raise awareness of vital social issues while at the same time, provide hope, inspiration and foster creativity throughout an entire community.

Why not ask to include this as an Ontario College of Art and Design project. The only cost would be the paint. Many students would love the exposure and are excellent artists

Would you paint over the existing designs?

@Susan Shalinsky CNH would like to update the existing one. It’s faded and could use some new life!
Note: The Mural would be for north side of the building, visible if you're going south on Ontario St.

TNG/CNH does a lot of great work in the community. This would be a great way to give back and beautify our neighbourhood at the same time.
