Better signage on Esplanade bike path

The current one way signage is confusing and badly designed on the bike trail. I'm not surprised that many cars violate it. Bike riders do, too. Here is my suggestion for improvement.
The sign at Jarvis and Esplanade that says 'no cars, buses and bikes only' is much too small and located on a lamppost below the traffic lights. Motorists won't see it.
Move the sign so that it is hanging next to the suspended traffic light, make it at least three times larger, and paint it a distinctive color.
Arrows and directions need to be painted on east AND Westbound lanes on Esplanade. Use color and design on the street level and near the signals, where the motorists and cyclists actually see them.
I am also in favor of having a traffic light installed at Frederick Street, as suggested elsewhere.
