The idea proposes for additional heritage street signages to promote the visual identity of heritage of St Lawrence Neighbourhood. Locations (poles where no street signs currently installed): 1. Scott and Wellington SE corner - Scott Street 2. Scott and Front NW corner - Scott Street 3. Ontario Street and King NE corner - Ontario Street 4. Ontario Street and Adelaide NW corner - Ontario Street 5. Ontario Street and Adelaide SW corner - Ontario Street 6. Sherbourne and King NE corner - Sherbourne Street.
Transportation Services staff have reviewed this proposal and estimate it will cost approximately $300 per sign or a total of $1500 for all 6 street signs including materials and labour.

Original Description:
Goal: To promote the visual identity of heritage and cultural assets of the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood and the recently approved (2021) St. Lawrence Heritage Conservation District (similar to Cabbagetown HCD)

• Third Line: Street Name

Note: This is one idea which can be scoped in a range of cost brackets, with associated investments ranging from large to very significant. It is hoped that there will be ongoing dialogue with the Councillor’s office to qualify and shape this idea further as design and cost input is received from staff experts at the City, and prior to it being submitted for voting.
