limit parking

On the portion of Flager St. between Sackville Place and the laneway we request no parking from Dec 1 to March 31 and between April 2 and Nov 3 a max parking of two cars.
Those who park in the laneway off Flagler have been struggling especially in the winter. On Flagler between Sackville Place and the laneway parking is allowed. This parking causes two issues. The first is that 3 cars always squeeze there often making it hard to turn onto Flagler from Sackville and in and out of the laneway. To get out it forces you onto a sidewalk where you risk hitting both a car and a pole. We request this parking is limited to 2 cars, or at least only smaller callers. SUVs parking there can block the laneway entirely.
Second, in the winter we are requesting no parking. If cars park there it doesn’t get plowed which has two issues. The first is that this winter some of us couldn’t use our cars for almost 5 weeks until we personally paid to clear a city street. The second is that again with it being so tight to get out a minor slip on snow and you have hit a car.
