Parking Restriction change for Ditty Lane

From "Traffic Regulation Review"

Go to the project

Friends of Ruby a charity supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, has recently moved into 70 Richmond St East.

We have a receiving door at the back of our building on Ditty lane, we receive deliveries like groceries and other donated goods on a fairly regular basis. Because Ditty lane is signed NO Parking folks have been getting tickets for stopping to unload. We are hoping that we can change the lane restriction to allow for brief loading/unloading.

No Parking should not get you a ticket for unloading. No Stopping will do so. You will get a ticket if you leave the vehicle unattended in a No parking zone - you need to be actively unloading.
