Installation of Planters Along Bayview Avenue Cycle Tracks
From "2023 PB Cluster 6"
Go to the project

This idea proposes to beautify the old parking laybys along Bayview Avenue which are no longer in use due to the installation of the bi-directional cycle tracks.
Transportation Services staff have reviewed this idea and estimate it will cost approximately $250,000 to install planters along this corridor including materials and labour.

This initiative would ideally be coordinated with some small, necessary improvements in road signage and bike lane barriers to help reduce wrong-way drivers and those who drive or park in the bike lanes on Bayview, Lawren Harris Square, etc.

This is a brilliant idea! They should reclaim that space as greenery.
