River street light timing from King to Queen

I think the lights going in the north/south direction on River Street should be extended for a few seconds for pedestrians. I normally need to cross both streets at once and I need to sprint to cross both King and Queen in one traffic signal. It's a very short distance but despite crossing two major roads but it's never doable by walking. In the winter, there is barely enough time to cross one of the two streets for the elderly.
