St. Luke Lane resurfacing

This idea proposes to resurface St Luke Lane from Breadalbanee to Grosvenor with Permeable pavers. 

Transportation Services staff have reviewed and stated the project would cost $400,000 including materials and labour. Additional costs may apply.

Original Description:

Goal: Replace concrete/asphalt on St. Luke Lane from Breadalbane to Grosvenor with permeable pavers, soft surface or cobblestone. More environmentally friendly surfacing with assist with water drainage/stormwater management and will reduce heat reflection/air temperature. It is also more aesthetically pleasing.

Note: This is one idea which can be scoped in a range of cost brackets, with associated investments ranging from large to very significant. It is hoped that there will be ongoing dialogue with the Councillor’s office to qualify and shape this idea further as design and cost input is received from staff experts at the City, and prior to it being submitted for voting.
