Unfortunately this is not a capital project and is not feasible through Participatory Budgeting. The allocated funds are specifically designated for capital projects and cannot be utilized for operational costs, such as social programming or utilities.

Too often Sherbourne St gets ignored when development and growth occurs. I understand the reputation of the street is not a flattering one, but I believe section by section it can be improved. I’m specifically referring to Sherbourne St south of Queen and north of Front. Currently, it is very barren looking. A better presentation of trees and the addition of colourful plants would go a long way in bringing a sense of vibrancy to the area instead of inviting a transient perspective to the community.
The photo is taken from Adelaide & Jarvis so I appreciate it has a bigger footprint, but I include as an example of bringing beauty to a street.
