I was born in Toronto, raised in Mississauga. I have lived out West in Banff, Calgary and in New Zealand, Auckland and Wellington.

I have always been a West Toronto girl (living in High Park or the Junction) but now, own a condo along the Esplanade.

Catherine McGinnis2 years ago Not sure if this has already been proposed, but how 'bout beautifying our manhole covers? Montreal has. Van has. Many cities have. I don't think I've noticed if Toronto has. Osaka, Japan is probably the best examples; great design and colourful.We could have competitions around a theme depending on the neighbourhood. I live on the Esplanade, so something like this would work nicely with the planned upgrade of David Crombie park. Here's a competition for it from Vancouver.
