BudgetTO 2026

The City of Toronto is holding consultations to inform its 2026 Budget.

Share your ideas between October 1 and October 31 by completing a short online survey (available in 12 languages) and attending one of six in-person or virtual consultation meetings.

This year, there are four phases to the budget process, including:

  1. Pre-Budget Consultations (November 2025)
  2. Budget Launch (January 2026)
  3. Committee Review & Public Deputations (January 2026)
  4. Approval Phase (February 2026)

Budget Committee Wrap-up

On January 25th, the Budget Committee wraps up by receiving the budget briefing notes requested, making amendments to the budget, and submitting the proposed budget to the Mayor for review.
