The City is replacing the Glen Road Pedestrian Bridge ( Morley Callaghan Footbridge) with a new steel structure across Rosedale Valley Ravine and the pedestrian tunnel under Bloor Street East connecting St. James Town and the Sherbourne Subway Station with Rosedale. The pedestrian tunnel that runs under Bloor Street East to/from the subway entrance and the bridge is also being reconstructed.

The construction area, illustrated above is Glen Road crossing the Rosedale Valley Ravine and the pedestrian tunnel under Bloor Street East.

  • Formalized driveway access
  • A new sidewalk connection
  • Mountable curb access for tunnel an bridge users
  • Expanded planting area/green space
  • New bike-share station

To complete this work and accommodate the newly constructed public space, 15 city trees will be removed starting March 18 with a replanting plan in consultation with the neighbourhood.
