John Innes Community Centre Reconstruction

Exciting improvements are coming to the John Innes Community Centre and Moss Park, with construction of the Community Centre set to begin in 2026 and Park construction set to begin in 2028, and completion by the first quarter of 2030. Park improvements include community gardens, a new children’s playground, a fenced-off dog park, improved seating paths and much more. Concept designs for Moss Park will be presented to the community at a public information session on June 29, 2023.

Below, you will find a map that shows where each park item will be located. Additionally, the approximate scaled map will locate on-going constructions that are happening along with the John Innes Community Recreation Centre, Future Metrolinx Station, and approximate timelines of work.
