New Park on King Street East
A new public park is being built in the St. Lawrence Neighborhood, prospectively built by 2026.
The park is going to be located between Ontario Street to Princess Street, from East to West. There will also be a pedestrian path from King street East to Adelaide street on the north side.
The vision of the park is inspired by the celebration and commemorative history of Black and diverse communities in the neighborhood. The goal of the park is to emphasize an accessible space that is green, calming, and social, where community members can sit, gather, and mingle.

The new park on King Street East will be located on the north side of King Street, between Princess Street and Ontario Street.

This new public park is a result of the development agreement between the City and Fitzrovia Real Estate, who are developing buildings adjacent to the park. The park will be designed and constructed by Fitzrovia Real Estate in partnership with the City of Toronto, contributing 470m/sq of public space for community gatherings.
