New Tree Planters at St. Nicholas Street and Irwin Street

About the Project

New Tree Planters are being installed along St. Nicholas Street and Irwin Street in Bay Cloverhill Neighbourhood.

In 2023, the community voted to provide $10,000 in s37 community benefits through Participatory Budgeting for each planter location to initiate a pilot project aimed at beautifying our streets.

The tree planters will be installed along St. Nicholas Street and Irwin Street. This proposed idea will offer enlarged tree openings. Additionally, a robust metal tree surround will be installed, offering a larger planting area and extended protection for existing plant life.
