Public Art Installation at Amelia and Parliament

About the Project

We're installing Public Art Sculptures at the intersection of Amelia and Parliament. This project was chosen by our community in 2024 through Participatory Budgeting.

Why are we doing this? The sculptures aim to beautify the neighbourhood and create a sense of place in Cabbagetown. By adding these landmarks, we hope to drive more foot traffic and support local businesses.

This project is all about enhancing our community's charm and vibrancy. We can't wait to see how these sculptures will make Cabbagetown an even more inviting and lively place!

Funding

The project is set to cost $100,000, funded by S37 Community Benefit funds.

Timeline

We're planning to start in Q2 of 2026 and expect to finish by Q3 of 2026.
